Semester Requesting ACE Designation:
If your ACE course is approved, will you always teach it as an ACE course?

In other words, when your course appears on the class schedule, should it always have the ACE designation? If your answer is YES, you wouldn't have to notify us to renew it. We'd automatically renew it for you.

*Make sure you have done four things*

1.    HIGHLIGHT your course learning objective(s) that matches the ACE experience.

2. HIGHLIGHT the place in the syllabus in which you explain the importance of community engagement.

3.   HIGHLIGHT the place in the syllabus in which you explain the ACE experience—what the students will be doing.  Make sure you tell the students the approximate number of hours that the “project” will take…and it needs to be at least 9 hours in a 3-hour class.

4. HIGHLIGHT the place in the syllabus that you tell the students that there is some sort of written reflection on the ACE experience and how many points that ACE “project” will count toward their final grade.

Is this a repeat ACE course?
For new ACE courses, do you already have a community partner collaboration set up?
Do you anticipate any transportation needs in the SPRING 2025 semester?
We have the ability to assist with funding for materials needed specifically for students' ACE experiences. If your class has needs, please submit a brief but detailed preliminary budget below regarding those requests (up to $250).
