PhD Plus is excited to host the Spring 2025 Career Design series. Designed specifically for graduate students and postdocs interested in career exploration, the PhD Plus Career Design series provides graduate students and postdocs with the fundamental resources and knowledge to support their career goal. Participants learn how to identify their skills, interests, and personal values as they relate to work. They will also explore a variety of careers available for those with advanced training. Finally, they will learn how to network effectively and connect with professionals in fields of interest.

 

Over the course of 5 weeks, we will meet online and participate in a series of activities. Each interactive session is about 1-hour long, and you will get to meet and collaborate with other graduate students and postdocs across Grounds while moving toward your professional and career goals.

Please note: This series is strongly encouraged for those who intend to apply for the PhD Plus Internship Program in the summer of 2025. In the following year (Summer 2026), completion of Career Design will be required to participate in the Internship Program.

 

If you complete 4 out of 5 sessions, you will be eligible for a digital badge issued by PhD Plus through the Credly badging platform. If not, you could complete the series later by attending the missing session(s) in later semesters.
