All students are expected to proactively seek long-term financial aid and support prior to the start of each semester, including through Student Financial Services (sfs@virginia.edu).  However, the School of Engineering recognizes that emergencies and unforeseen financial hardships may arise.

This application is for unexpected hardship support through the School of Engineering at UVa. "Hardships" can take many forms, but generally include not being able to meet pressing financial needs, whether it be tuition, rent, food, health insurance, or necessary travel.
