The Developmental Neuroanalytics Lab is accepting applications for new Research Assistants! 
 
Our lab aims to identify and characterize the neurobiological and developmental factors that drive individual differences in social, cognitive, and behavioral outcomes. 
 
No previous research experience is necessary. We encourage underclassmen and those who can commit to multiple semesters in the lab to apply. Applications from members of groups underrepresented in the sciences are also encouraged. For more information, please visit: https://www.puglialab.org/

Information about the Research Assistant Position

Credit: During the academic year, students can receive academic credit through the psychology, neuroscience, cognitive science, biology or chemistry departments (3 credits= 10 hours/week, 2 credits=7 hours/week). Students can also participate in the lab on a volunteer basis. During the summer, research is completed on a volunteer basis only.

Research responsibilities include:
  • Work directly with infants, young children, and their families
  • Data collection using behavioral and neuroimaging techniques
  • Data management and analysis

Administrative responsibilities include:
  • Participant recruitment, screening, and scheduling
  • Maintaining records
  • Providing general support for the PI and staff

Independent research: Motivated RAs may conduct independent research projects. For example, past students have completed Distinguished Majors Projects, presented at local and national conferences, and have been awarded undergraduate research awards for their work.

Location: We are located in the Fontaine Research Park, at 560 Ray C Hunt Drive.
