SIE PhD Student Travel Fellowship Request FormThe Department of Systems and Information Engineering (SIE) awards student travel fellowship on an ongoing basis. These fellowships provide students with financial support to attend and present their research at conferences. All SIE PhD students are eligible to apply for a one-time travel grant of up to $1,500 to present their research at a peer-reviewed conference once during their tenure at UVA. Awards are subject to the availability of funds. Preference is given to papers accepted at conferences with published proceedings. Once your travel has been completed you will submit your reimbursement request through the appropriate channel.
