I'm considering showing a film that shows kind of the "ideal" journalistic scenario, where journalists actually have the resources to take on an important story that needs to be told. The idea is to help us consider what can be truly valuable about formal print journalism, so we can then think about those best practices in our own writing--both for the course and for any kinds of "citizen journalism" we participate in beyond the course.
