Library staff are invited to participate in a 10-minute survey. The purpose of this survey is to learn more about the different types of learning activities that you enjoy as an individual. For example, we will ask for you to rate your preferences for care-taking, discovering, and creating/making. To provide context, we are also interested in learning about your professional role at your library in providing STEM learning experiences, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This research is part of the National Science Foundation-funded Project BUILD, which brings together youth, their families, librarians, and professional engineers in a STEM learning environment centered on engaging youth grades 2-5 with activities that highlight the engineering design process. The overarching aim of the project is to provide experiences that expand young people’s learning preferences to include STEM-related careers as possible options.
