About us:
Center for Behavioral Health and Technology – Director Lee Ritterband. CBHT faculty include Karen Ingersoll, Phil Chow, and Kelly Shaffer. CBHT affiliated faculty include Kara Wiseman and Megan Mattos.

Our projects span multiple focus areas in clinical and health psychology, engineering, nursing, and public health – these include topics such as Insomnia, Addiction Treatment, HIV Care Engagement, Cancer Survivorship, Mood and Anxiety, and Global Health.

Current and recent projects include a large national trial to evaluate a mobile intervention for anxiety and depression in breast cancer survivors, an Internet-delivered insomnia intervention for family caregivers, and a mobile intervention to reduce binge drinking among college students. Other current and recent studies evaluate interventions to increase smoking cessation, support HIV prevention medication adherence, and improve HIV clinical outcomes.
